Co-writing Groups
SMU Writing Mondays (Spring 2019)
During the Spring of 2019 I started a writing group at Southern Methodist University. The program was funded by the Clements Center for Southwest Studies and supported by the Department of Anthropology.
Spring 2019 - Sign up here for Writing Mondays at SMU!
START YOUR WEEK OFF "WRITE!" with WRITING MONDAYS (Spring 2019)
Writing Mondays is a new program offering a space for SMU’s academic writers to work on their writing projects in the company of a supportive network of colleagues. Writing Mondays will be held twice a month, and FREE coffee will be provided for participants. No lectures or tutoring will be provided –just a quiet space to work in the solidarity of other writers.
Arrive with the project you are working on and your laptop, along with any notes or books you need. This is a great place to work on your doctoral dissertation, a grant proposal, or that pesky manuscript that you need to finish!
Open to SMU graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and junior faculty. Writers in any discipline are welcome. Participants may come to one, several, or all sessions, but you MUST register for each session via Whoozin.
Location: Harold Clark Simmons Hall, Rm. 207
Dates: Every other Monday starting February 4th
Time: 11a-2p
SIGN UP HERE THROUGH WHOOZIN (click on the date for which you wish to register):
